Matsue Urban Hotel

It was a thoughtful place to stay. We needed somewhere to leave our baggage since our luggage is a bit bulkier than those for coin locker counters available at the JR station nearby and they willingly stored ours even after our checkout time at 10am. We asked the front desk at 8am and they stored it for us til we got back from Yuushien at 4:30pm that same day thinking we'd pay for a minimal amount but it was totally free of charge. What a life saver! They have free amenities up for grabs as soon as you enter the hotel -- combs, towels, facial masks, crackers, drinks and many more. You can also borrow items like bicycles, iron, charger etc from the front desk. We refilled our water bottles so many times as well.

Close proximity to JR train and bus station. Although not much parking at the hotel they have an arrangement with a multi storey park very close by. All facilities good. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Staff very courteous and helpful.

The breakfast was small, compared to American meals, but satisfying if you add a little rice and tea.

Changing the towel everyday

Everything was good. Facilities/amenities provided were up to the mark. Also bicycles were provided by the hotel was cherry on the cake.
